Looking Forward Now

grandad to cancer in 2019 and was just coming to terms with that when he lost his dad to murder in 2020. His mum has become increasingly concerned for his welfare as Covid has made everything much worse – his exams were cancelled, his friends couldn’t call and home schooling, in the circumstances, was very difficult too. Mum was quite desperate to get them both away from it all for a wee while, to switch off and relax together. Then Covid flared again.

However, The Moira Fund has provided the means for them to have that break. It hasn’t happened yet, but now Sam does have something to look forward to, and together they are planning interesting visits and treats. They are not going far, only a short distance, but we hope it’s the start of a real difference.
